Our Story

Okalani was founded by two lifelong friends who developed an interest in running a business during their time at college. Like many, we weren’t sure what path we wanted to take — the original idea was actually to start a pressure washing business but it didn’t take long to realise our hearts weren’t in that.

What we did share, though, was a deep appreciation for fashion, design, and storytelling. That spark quickly turned into late-night brainstorming sessions, mood boards, and eventually, a vision for a clothing brand rooted in purpose and style. From there, Okalani was born — a brand that blends elevated streetwear with rich creative narratives and cultural depth.

This project is more than just a business — it’s a reflection of who we are and what we value. What started as an idea between two mates is now a growing brand, and we’re just getting started.
